Rainbow 50p coin to mark 50 years of Pride movement in the UK💰🌈
The coin features Pride in London's values of Protest, Visibility, Unity, and Equality in rainbows with the Pride progression flag.
The coin has been designed by Dominque Holmes, a LGBTQ+ activist and artist.
This will be the first time the LGBTQ+ community has been celebrated on official UK coin🌈
The 50p has been created through a partnership between Pride in London(@prideinlondon) and the Royal Mint (@royalmintuk) and a donation will be made to London LGBT Community Pride as part of the launch💖

IDAHOBIT is an important day for LGBT+ people all over the world 🌎
The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia was created in 2004 to draw the attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexuals, transgender, intersex people and all other people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.
The date of May 17th was specifically chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder. IDAHOBIT is now celebrated in more than 130 countries, including 37 where same-sex acts are illegal 🌎

Make sure our young people have their say on Government Mental Health Policy with the DCMS Youth Policy Development Group💪
The government is going to publish a 10-year Mental Health & Wellbeing Plan, focused on improving mental health and wellbeing particularly for people who experience worse outcomes than the general population. The Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) have asked for help understanding young people’s priorities for improving youth mental health and wellbeing🧠💪
The Youth Policy Development Group is a team of young people aged 16-25, working directly with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to represent and share the voice of England’s Youth to politicians at the highest levels of government, in order mainstream youth voice across all national decisions.
The survey has 5 questions and should take no more than 5 minutes. The closing date is 28th May 2022. The link for the survey is posted in the comments below ⬇️
